It's a Girl!

My wife, Mary, is 19 weeks pregnant with our 2nd child. Last night we had an ultrasound where they checked all of the baby's vitals and made sure that baby had all 20 fingers and toes.  Everything looked great. We also found out the gender of our 2nd baby.  It's a GIRL!  We already have a wonderful little girl named Macey (See photo) and we feel like we have a pretty good handle on how to deal with her...

Another baby girl seems to be natural for us, we feel so blessed by this.  We are thinking that this will be our last child (we don't know for sure) and we are excited about the outcome.

However, it made me think, I am the final Timmons Boy in my family.  If I don't have a boy, there won't be another Timmons to carry the name...

How important is that?  I know there is some sense of importance but can it be measured?
