We are living in an economic time that is, at best, uncertain. I have been thinking about it for a while and I've found it interesting how the economy can have an affect on how we think about things. See if you can track with me. I'm nervous (anxious... I don't know the best word) about the current economic situation. Will I have a job tomorrow (not that it's necessarily at risk)? Will my company still be around in a year (not that our company is struggling)? What can I do to protect my family? I should be saving more than I am...
Panic, that's what I would call it. Slight panic.
With that in mind, here are the things I'm reassuring myself with:
1. God is God. He has control. (I'm glad and I trust it but still doesn't give me control of the situation)
2. I WILL do whatever it takes to provide for my family.
3. Things seem to be stable for me.
What are you reassuring yourself with? What is holding you steadfast in this time?
