Customer Service At It's Best

Over the past couple of years I have become a big Donald Miller Fan, I follow him on Twitter and read his blog regularly.  Today he posted an article which was written in The Today Show Food Column about a restaurant in Seattle called Canlis and how the author found out about their Valet parking "magic trick".

It's a GREAT example of how customer service should be done.  Here are a couple of things I gleaned from this amazing feat:

In order to have amazing, out of this world, remarkable customer service, you must do the following:

  1. Cast a vision for what should be accomplished in a certain area and empower people to do whatever it takes
  2. Have people who Care, a lot, about what they are doing
  3. Give a sense of pride to the position, allow people to make it theirs
